Aula Magna Lecture HallThe first Food System Microbiomes 2024 International Conference will take place in the Aula Magna della Cavallerizza Reale of the University of Turin. This historic building is part of the circuit of Savoy residences in Piedmont, proclaimed a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. It has been recently renovated, transforming the existing complex into a new cultural and educational centre perfectly equipped to host this conference.

1. Torino Airport
The international airport is about 16 km from the city centre, about half an hour’s drive, and boasts a good transport service to the town centre, both by bus and train, as well as taxis of course. The airport has daily flights to major Italian and European cities.

2. Milano Malpensa International Airport 
This airport is located at about 100 kms from Torino and offers daily international and intercontinental flights.

  • By car - from Torino: A4 Milano-Torino motorway, exit Novara, S.S. (national road) 32, direction Oleggio, follow the directions for Malpensa. From Alessandria/Genoa: A26 motorway, exit Sesto Calende, direction Somma Lombardo, follow the directions for Malpensa.

TRAIN

Piemonte’s railway system has more than 2,000 km. Piemonte’s central location in relation to the most important European rail connections is also reinforced by the high speed line, already partly operational, which will be completed in the next few years.
